At the beginning of the 20th century, Luigi Visconti acquired a small winery and, in the 1930s, founded his business in the heart of the city. The location, overlooking the lake, offered a breathtaking view, and it was here that he decided to build his residence. The ground floor was dedicated to wine production, while the upper floors became his home, the perfect place to realise the dream of living in an extraordinary place and raising a large family. Today, a photograph of the original building from the 1930s is visible in the image gallery. The restoration of the entire property, completed in 2021, has carefully preserved the original architectural elements, keeping the finest details intact. The elegant marble staircases, finely crafted wrought iron railings, artistic stained glass windows and frescoed attic ceilings painted by artists of the time still tell the story of this exclusive residence. Each apartment offers a spectacular view and is named after one of the wines produced by the Visconti family, offering a perfect blend of tradition and modernity. The Gran Lugana, also known as the Green Apartment, is a refined four-room apartment spread over two levels, perfect for accommodating families looking for a stay of comfort and relaxation. The apartment features three bedrooms: a master suite with a private bathroom and a king-size bed (200 cm x 180 cm), a twin room with two single beds (200 cm x 100 cm x 80 cm, one of which is pull-out) and a single room (200 cm x 100 cm). All the beds are equipped with high-quality toppers, a detail designed to further enhance rest and make each night a pure relaxation experience. The Gran Lugana can comfortably accommodate five people, with the possibility of welcoming up to two additional guests thanks to the practical sofa bed in the living room. Stepping inside, you are welcomed by a spacious living area with dining area and a balcony offering a delightful view of the lake. Next to the living room, the separate kitchen is equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and a modern induction hob. Behind the kitchen, there is a service bathroom complete with a washer and dryer. Upstairs, you access the sleeping area, where each room is equipped with air conditioning and skylights with electric opening, perfect for gazing at the starry sky before falling asleep. Among the rooms, a large additional bathroom with a spacious shower provides all the necessary comfort. The apartment is equipped with air conditioning in all rooms and a smart TV with satellite channels and access to major streaming apps such as Netflix, YouTube and Amazon Video. Completing the experience are a safe, Wi-Fi connection, and high-speed internet service, designed to ensure maximum comfort even for the most demanding travellers. For those arriving by car, a parking space located about 300 meters from the property can be requested. Additionally, there are convenient public parking spaces nearby. One week before your arrival, a dedicated concierge, available in Italian, English, German, Spanish and Portuguese, will be at your disposal to answer any questions about the apartment and the nearby attractions. Upon arrival, the concierge will personally welcome you, accompany you to the apartment, and remain available throughout your stay for any needs. Upon departure, they will be there to bid you farewell and ensure your experience has been perfect. This service is accessible via direct chat, ensuring rapid and personalised assistance. Check-in is expected between 15:00 and 19:00. For arrivals between 19:00 and 23:30, a supplement of 50 E is required. Upon arrival, a security deposit of 300 E will also be required, which can be paid in cash or by credit card. If paid in cash, the deposit will be refunded by bank transfer within three working days, subject to a damage check.
